We zoomed across New Hampshire during the summer of 2015, first going west to east to get to Maine and Nova Scotia, and then going east to west on our way to the Finger Lakes in New York. We made one absolutely marvelous quickie pit stop in the White Mountains to take a ride on the famous Mount Washington Cog Railway.
